Burning Tree Project
BTP is a fusion-rock band comprised of six gifted musicians under the banner: "play for the audience of one but for the movement of millions." Its sound resembles a mix of bands, such as Underoath, Finch, The Used, and Jimmy Eat World. From the lyrics to the tunes, BTP's songs are infused with elements of the soul-deep struggles that the band members have gone through and their endeavor in finding hope: "So it's more than a story of anger, being empty, having nothing, feeling hurt, bleeding dry, and swimming in the void. Its a story of a new hope because everyone is searching for a hero but few are lucky enough to find one." Since its emergence in 2002, the band has made TV appearances and performed in a myriad of shows and venues, including VH1's Jamfest, Kollaboration, and JAMA. They have released a 12-track CD under one of the major labels (Jaggo Records/EMI) and have toured nationwide.
