Dumbfounded

Dumbfoundead, born Jonathan Park 21 years ago in Argentina, is a Korean emcee/poet raised in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Representing several crews, including Jeet Kune Flow (K-Town open mic co-founder), Thirsty Fish, Public Axis, and Project Blowed (South Central LA), Dumbfoundead has been ripping cyphers, open mics, concerts, and poetry slams all over Southern California.  He is the only solo Asian rapper headlining in the Los Angeles hip hop scene right now.  He's opened up for hip hop acts such as Ghostface Killah, 2Mex, GZA, Jeru Da Damaja, Buckshot, Aceyalone, Fatlip from the Pharcyde, Visionaries, and DJ Mike Relm.  Dumbfoundead won the 2nd Newspeak Asian Poetry Slam last year, while also winning UCLA's All-Star MC Battle and the MC Battle at Asian Hip Hop Summit 5.  As much a freestyle artist as a disciple of the written word, Dumbfoundead is also one of the most sought-after hosts in the hip hop scene.  Dumbfoundead has established his reputation as the most versatile and accomplished
young Asian artist in Los Angeles.
