Before Nina had officially debuted in 2004, she opened
for Mariah Carey’s tour in Seoul, Korea where a crowd of over 20,000
people heard her for the first time ever. Her single, "Hit'M", which she had written and composed, won the hearts of many crowds instantly while topping the charts and gaining her national recognition. With her extremely powerful vocal strengths and never before seen dance style, Nina had brought a whole new energy to the people of Korea. While living there for 4 years in order to further pursue her dreams, she learned more about her herself. There, Nina constantly educated herself about the land of Korea, her beloved unknown, the culture, people, and the stolen identity she wore. Nina asked "no more". But with bigger goals for the future combined with a renewed spirit, Nina moved back to America.
Growing up in New York, Nina had always been artistic and luckily had the whole map of New York City to guide her into the young, metropolitan, art aficionado and artist she has become today. As a little girl, stage was home. Nina already performed in the great halls of Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and Steinway Hall. By the time she was 14, Nina had won several writing and poetry contests and even the "Athlete of the Year" award for her achievements as a martial artist/Taekwondoist. In 2000, she moved to Los Angeles after being scouted by an agent at a pageant in Orlando, Florida winning the title of 1999 Miss Teen Congeniality USA. Nina started writing and recording her own music at the tender age of 12 and has not stopped since.
