Lee Ann Kim

Born in Seoul and raised in Chicago, Lee Ann Kim is one of the main weekday anchors/reporters for KGTV, the ABC affiliate in San Diego.  Since joining KGTV in 1996, she has won numerous local, regional and national awards for her journalism including an Emmy for investigative reporting.  She was also honored as San Diego's Best News Anchor by readers of *944* Magazine and is the one of the few Asian Americans recipients of *San Diego Metropolitan Magazine*'s Top 40 Under 40 award.  In 1999, Lee Ann restarted the San Diego chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association, of which she served as president for two years.  During that time, she also founded the San Diego Asian Film Festival, of which she continues to serve as executive director.  Lee Ann is married to Louis Song, Market Director of Kforce San Diego.  They are the proud parents of a two beautiful baby boys – Weston and their adopted son, Samuel, from South Korea.
