Sukhee Kang
In November of 2004, Sukhee Kang was elected to the Irvine City Council, signaling an historic political breakthrough for Irvine’s multi-cultural community. In January 2005, the Irvine City Council unanimously elected him for the office of Mayor Pro Tempore. In September of 2006, Sukhee Kang was re-elected as the City Council member of Irvine.
He has served as Chairman of the Korean American Coalition of Orange County, and as President of the Korean American Scholarship Foundation’s Western Region.
