KASCON has been a place of personal discovery and awareness. Through new knowledge, KASCON participants experience a change in attitude, stirrings of group consciousness, and most importantly, appreciation of their Korean roots and history.  Our conference schedule is comprised of carefully selected workshops and seminars to provide an educational and meaningful experience for our participants.


For the first time ever in KASCON history, KASCON21 introduces the creation of a coalition between Korean American student leaders and their counterparts from South Korea. This will be a pivotal moment in expanding the boundaries of networking outside of the US where the two young generations will have an opportunity to discuss not only the most pressing issues that affect both groups, but also the possibilities of further collaboration.  This will be in addition to the traditional opportunities provided by KASCON for its participants to connect with each other, establishing long-lasting relationships across the country.


KASCON21 will be a place of training and empowerment where students are encouraged to become proactive leaders in various facets of society.  By raising awareness of our cultural and political heritage and the importance of civic duty, we will build new alliances and aspire to new changes that will mobilize and advance the Korean American community.  This is the New Wave.
